Instagram App updated for iPhone 5 and iOS6

Instagram have just released an updated iOS Application that is now compatible with the iPhone 5 and iOS6.

I have been waiting for this as the Retina display on the iPhone 5 is so crisp and the extra large screen is ideal for a photo specific application like Instagram. The experience is not wildly different from the iPhone 4 or 3, but it does feel a lot more usable and noticeable speed improvements.

As per the App Store update details, there are a number of other improvements in this update:

• iOS6 and iPhone 5 compatible
• Improved password recovery
• Redesigned user registration flow
• Bug fixes and other improvements
