This is a significant increase from when we reported in late August that Instagram reached 85 million users.
Mr Zuckerberg also went on to say (again) that they are going to keep the product seperate from Facebook, and it doesn’t make sence to change the technology stack Instagram is built on.
“We want to help Instagram grow in hundreds of millions of users”, Mr Zuckerberg told the audience at Disrupt SF.
Mark also went on to say the Facebook and Instagram teams work closer together and have access to each others code.
Previously we reported that the Instagram team has moved to Facebook’s Menlo Park Headquarters.
